From last several years, wireless network optimization practices have remained the same. We track KPI measurements and tune manually in most cases and automatically where we can to ensure KPIs are at or above target.

Now ML is being used for pattern detection and designing optimized telecom networks. Within AI ML, Reinforcement learning (RL) is a viable and elegant approach to yield an optimal policy for sequential decision-making problems. The tricky electromagnetic environment can be tracked by RL in a trial-and-error paradigm. The nonlinear and parameterized deep neural network (DNN), providing the compact and powerful representation of experiences, can adapt to the complicated electromagnetic spatial distribution accurately. Therefore, one can use a DRL net to optimize setting of LTE network configuration (parameters).

Attend this Webinar tomorrow to understand how to use DRL to optimize the LTE Network configuration.
